Boreas Tourism

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, services, and agreements made with Boreas Tourism, a B2B destination management company and inbound tour operator. By confirming a booking or entering into a business relationship with Boreas Tourism, the client (travel agency, tour operator, wholesaler, or corporate buyer) agrees to the following terms.

Operating Destinations: Greece, Italy, Turkey, Cyprus, India, Egypt


2. Scope of Services

Boreas Tourism provides ground handling and destination services including, but not limited to:

  • Hotel accommodation
  • Airport and intercity transfers
  • Transportation by coach, minibus, or car
  • Licensed guides and tour leaders
  • Sightseeing tours and excursions
  • Restaurant and dining arrangements
  • Special interest programs
  • Group, FIT, and escorted tour handling


Boreas Tourism acts as an intermediary and organizer and does not act as the principal supplier of air transport, insurance, or accommodation unless explicitly stated.


3. Booking & Confirmation

  • All bookings must be submitted in writing (email or official booking system).
  • A booking is considered confirmed only after written confirmation is issued by Boreas Tourism.
  • Final details such as rooming lists, arrival/departure details, and special requests must be submitted by the agreed deadlines.
  • Boreas Tourism reserves the right to release space if deadlines are not met.


4. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are net B2B rates, unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices are based on current costs and are subject to change due to:
  • Currency fluctuations
  • Fuel surcharges
  • Government or local taxes
  • Supplier rate increases beyond Boreas Tourism’s control
  • Payment terms will be specified per booking or contract.
  • Late or incomplete payments may result in service suspension, cancellation, or reconfirmation at higher rates.


5. Cancellations & Amendments

Cancellation policies vary by destination and supplier and will be communicated at the time of confirmation.

General conditions:

  • All cancellations must be received in writing.
  • Cancellation fees apply according to supplier rules and notice periods.
  • No-shows are 100% chargeable.
  • Amendments requested after confirmation may result in additional costs and re-confirmation.


6. Force Majeure

Boreas Tourism shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Epidemics or pandemics
  • Government restrictions
  • War, civil unrest, or terrorism
  • Labor strikes
  • Transportation disruptions


In such cases, Boreas Tourism will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative arrangements where possible, subject to availability and additional costs.


7. Responsibility & Liability

  • Boreas Tourism acts solely as a booking agent and coordinator.
  • Boreas Tourism is not responsible for acts, omissions, or negligence of third-party suppliers including hotels, transport providers, guides, or restaurants.
  • Boreas Tourism is not liable for:
  • Delays, missed connections, or schedule changes
  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
  • Accidents or injuries beyond its direct control
  • Airline or ferry cancellations or over bookings


8. Travel Documents & Compliance

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring travelers hold valid passports, visas, health certificates, and entry requirements.
  • Boreas Tourism is not responsible for denied entry, deportation, or visa refusal.
  • Travelers must comply with local laws, customs, and regulations in all destinations.


9. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, baggage, and liability is strongly recommended for all travelers. Boreas Tourism does not provide insurance unless explicitly stated in writing.


10. Health, Safety & Conduct

  • Travelers are expected to behave respectfully toward local communities, suppliers, and staff.
  • Boreas Tourism reserves the right to remove any traveler whose conduct disrupts the group or endangers others, without refund.
  • Special medical or mobility requirements must be communicated in advance.


11. Complaints & Claims

Any service-related issues must be reported immediately on-site to allow corrective action.

Written complaints must be submitted within 14 days after completion of services.

Claims submitted after this period may not be considered.


12. Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure

All pricing, itineraries, contracts, and documentation provided by Boreas Tourism are confidential and intended for B2B use only. Distribution to end consumers or third parties without written consent is prohibited.


13. Intellectual Property

All itineraries, images, content, and materials created by Boreas Tourism remain its intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.


14. Data Protection

Boreas Tourism processes personal data solely for booking and operational purposes in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Data will not be shared with third parties except where necessary to fulfill services.


15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Turkish courts.


16. Acceptance of Terms

Confirmation of any booking or service constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
